Walk or drive through Waterloo long enough and RIM Park comes up. East-end recreation campus with the Manulife Sportsplex indoors and lit fields outdoors. Locals treat it as the default for ice, turf, and the Walter Bean trail.
East of the core, recreation talk defaults to RIM Park on University Avenue East. Laurel Creek’s larger story still points toward the Grand River, which is why trail and greenway language feels connected even when you are only walking from Uptown to the park.
