Construction Pulse
After each Statistics Canada building-permit release, we publish national totals, change from last year, and the cities with the most activity.
Each edition only includes municipalities with a direct reading in Statistics Canada Table 34-10-0292-01 for that month. Estimated or proxy rows are left out of the national total so the report matches what the survey published. For help reading a single city figure, see the building permits guide and methodology.
