The Rotary Trail is a 22.6 km paved circuit used for walks, runs, and family ride events on the city calendar.
Walk or drive through Prince Albert long enough and Little Red River Park comes up. Large boreal park for year-round trails, the easiest way to feel the forest side of Prince Albert without leaving city limits.
Recreation is not an afterthought here. Little Red River Park offers 1,200 acres of boreal forest and trails for hiking, skiing, and bikes; the Rotary Trail loops 22.6 kilometres of pavement around the city for family ride mornings; and summer opens the Kinsmen Water Park plus neighbourhood spray parks. Indoor life runs through Alfred Jenkins Field House and Raiders nights at the Art Hauser Centre, where the Prince Albert Raiders keep WHL hockey on the civic calendar. Exhibition season means PAEX, parade routes, and the kind of road restrictions locals check before they leave the driveway.
