Leduc Recreation Centre is a reason people stay fond of Leduc.
Walk or drive through Leduc long enough and Leduc Recreation Centre comes up. Main indoor hub with aquatic centre, arenas, fieldhouse, fitness, and indoor playground. Also the usual home base for Black Gold Rodeo weekend and the farmers' market.
The Leduc Recreation Centre is the indoor capital: 309,000 square feet of aquatics, arenas, Leduc Co-op Fieldhouse, and fitness under the Live.Leduc registration brand. Beside it, William F. Lede Park stretches more than 200 acres for ball, soccer, rugby, the K9 off-leash area, and the Stone Barn Garden and Cultural Village. Telford Lake ties into the Multiway Trail System with an 8.2-kilometre interpretive loop, boating, and summer dragon boat races that pull regional crowds to the shores.
