Treated water enters the interconnected Halton Region Distribution Subsystem (South Halton), which also serves Burlington and parts of Milton and Halton Hills.
Burloak is a membrane/ozone plant on the Oakville–Burlington boundary, giving Halton a second Lake Ontario plant besides the older Oakville and Burlington conventional plants.
