Buffalo Pound Lake
Lake Diefenbaker (via Qu'Appelle system)
City Sewer and Water Division maintains local mains and pumping; chlorine residual and turbidity are monitored daily at three city pumping stations that feed the distribution system.
Moose Jaw and Regina have co-owned Buffalo Pound since 1955; Moose Jaw sits much closer to the plant than Regina does.
Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant
Jointly owned with Regina; supplies treated water to Moose Jaw, Regina, SaskWater, and Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. Plant is roughly 30 km northeast of Moose Jaw on Highway 301.
