  Brampton has no local lake intake; potable water arrives through the South Peel transmission and distribution system owned by Peel Region, serving Brampton, Mississauga, and southern Caledon.

  Brampton’s entire municipal supply is Lake Ontario water treated on Mississauga’s lakeshore and pumped inland through Peel’s regional network.

  Peel Region Lake Ontario plant feeding the east side of Brampton (and Mississauga/Caledon/York). Capacity up to 1,200 ML/day; OCWA-operated.

  Lorne Park Water Treatment Plant

  Peel Region Lake Ontario plant feeding primarily the west side of Brampton and Mississauga. Capacity up to 500 ML/day; largely underground; OCWA-operated.
